Reporting to the Head of International Cash Management Sales who is based in Dubai

The ideal candidate should have knowledge in

• Transaction Banking
• Cash Management Sales
• Cash Management Product Management
• He/She would also need to have strong contacts in the local market which means he/she with a strong network in SA market
• Should be willing to work independently
• Should come with max 6 years of experience

The tasks are as below:

• Define, implement and manage the MEA GTB Product Management & Implementations as well as the Cash and Liquidity Sales strategy and action plans for RSA
• Contributes to position client as a leading bank for International Cash and Liquidity Management in RSA, by displaying sound product and market knowledge and bespoke solution design.
Direct Responsibilities
• Take ownership of the full Cash and Liquidity Management product portfolio for South Africa
• Ensure all supporting functionalities (any clearing link, licence that might be required, correspondent banking set-up etc) are in place for smooth functioning of cash management solutions
• Coordinates with the GTB country Head and ICM MEA Head to realise the ICM strategy in South Africa
• Coordinates with the CDL team in MEA to deliver the liquidity and deposit strategy for RSA
• Ensures objectives are met, including full ownership of Product Management and Customer Implementations for RSA, all execution activities from design, development, roll out, project management, market readiness, product improvement and customer set up on the systems, training and activation/on-boarding/entitlement and post implementation coordination of support activities.
• Manage and drive interaction with Vendors, Consultants and Internal Functional Areas.
• Ensures PM & Implementations discipline, including the effective use of internal systems, be in compliance with internal/external policies and regulations and audit recommendations. Promote and execute corrective actions when required.
• Drives Sales of ICM and liquidity management solutions as well as supports the GTB head for complex multiproduct deals.

Expected Contributions
• Deploy the products and solutions identifies for RSA in the Product Roadmap Plan; improve existing ones to assure a competitive offer for target market customers.
• Effective customer Implementation process promoting quick turn-around time, fast customer rump up process and customer usage of the products of your portfolio.
• Approve products and solutions in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
• Works with discipline to all Sales initiatives maintaining spotless pipeline and documentation
• Branding of BNP Paribas as leading Cash and Liquidity management bank in RSA and the world.

Skills needed
1. More than 3y experience in Transaction Banking Product Management & Implementations – Must have
2. More than 3y in a cash or liquidity management sales function – Must-have
3. A positive and energetic personality, able to influence and inspire colleagues – Must have
4. Fluent in English with strong presentation and communication skills – Must have
5. Strong quantitative and analytical skills – Must have
6. A team player with a genuine interest to take ownership of initiatives assigned – Must have
7. Result-driven, used to be managed through quantitative KPI – Must have
8. Knowledge of the local RSA market – Must-have
9. Able to work independently – Must have
10. He/she would also need to have strong contacts in the local market
